Climate change might be bad news, but there is some good news too! It’s not too late to tackle climate change…and there are things we can all do to help.
It’s a big challenge, but every one of us – every person and every organisation – can make a real difference. Our actions really do count.
See how much energy you use with an interactive carbon calculator
As individuals and families we all make choices every day about how much energy we use, and it's surprising how much we can save. Remember – saving energy, even if it’s as simple as turning down a thermostat by two degrees saves money as well as the climate.
First of all, you need to find out how much energy you or your family are using. Try DEFRA's easy-to-use online Act on CO2 calculator.
